The Justice Department clears the way for a tie-up of Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) and UAL (UAUA), meaning a merger into the world's largest airline (measured by traffic) could be done in weeks. The new airline will be called United but take Continental's logo and colors; there's still labor contracts to work out along with shareholder votes.
