Allergen (AGN) soared to $166.20 today, or 24% on reports that hedge fund manager Bill Ackman and Valeant Pharmaceuticals have bought a massive amount of stock in a bid to gain control of the company. Allergen, which makes the hit drug Botox, could be the target of the largest takeover of 2014. Analysts urged caution earlier in the day saying that the price had moved too quickly in a short period of time.
