On August 15th, 2014, an award was entered against Edward Murphy for $86,000.00 plus interest at the rate of 2.75% per annum from May 1st, 2013 until the award is paid in full. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") case number is 13-02252. The Claimant, a New Jersey resident, was represented by Lars K. Soreide, Esq., of Soreide Law Group, PLLC, located in Florida.

On July 17th, 2012, Edward Murphy was terminated from WELLS FARGO for "Failure to follow firm policies regarding trading in investment company products." The termination came on the heels of two reported customer disputes on his CRD. According to FINRA broker check, Edward Murphy has 5 reported customer complaints several of which related to high risk volatile investments in ETF's.

Mr. Murphy is no longer affiliated with any FINRA broker dealer but was with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC, in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, from April 2004 through August 2012.
