Otezla vs Prurisol:

both are taken orally
O works by activating PDE 4
P works via activation of PRINS/IL4
O is a novel drug developed by Celgene
O causes severe depression in 12% of patients taking it
O is indicated for moderate to severe psoriasis
O is being heavily marketed as an oral agent alternative to the biologics
P is indicated for mild to moderate psoriasis
It has yet to finish phase 2/ trials.
Celgene has a huge head start over CTIX and is making 1 billion dollars per year (USA)

The major advantage to P is that its oral, it's base drug has a long history of usage and its indicated for mild to moderate psoriasis.

we should see some top line results by February 2016 or some updates sooner.
If its successful Celgene could come calling for a sublicense !!

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL
