    • Revenue by segment: Aviation Services, $400.4M (up 11.2%); Expeditionary Services, $57.8M (up 3.96%). Gross profit in Aviation Services was $63.1M (15.8% margin) while gross profit in Expeditionary Services was $1.1M (1.9% margin).
    • For 2017, it's guiding to consolidated sales of $1.7B-$1.8B (vs. consensus for $1.81B) and EPS from continuing operations of $1.30-$1.40, well short of expectations for $1.97.

    • AAR Corp. (AIR -9.6%) shares sink nearly 10% after the aviation industry supplier missed expectations for FQ1 earnings and revenue and cut guidance for its recently started FY 2015.
    • AAR lowered its EPS estimate to $1.65-$1.75 on revenue of $2B-$2.05B, down from its previous estimate for $1.80-$1.90 EPS on revenue of $2.1B-$2.15B, saying previous guidance included assumptions on the number and mix of contracted Airlift positions, including certain awards that now seem unlikely to materialize.
    • Sales in AAR's aviation services business fell 7.6% Y/Y, with a 27% decline in sales to defense customers offsetting a 7% growth in sales to commercial customers; in technology products, lower sales of mobility products contributed to an overall 13% decline.
