    • While NCLH is poised to benefit from any positive industry dynamics, the recent run up in its share price leaves the risk/reward profile more balanced, Bernstein says.

    • Carnival Cruise Line (CCL +0.1%)  signs an expansion agreement with Urban Commons and the City of Long Beach to expand the Long Beach Cruise Terminal facility.
    • The company says the deal will nearly triple the size of Carnival's current terminal facility from approximately 66K square feet to 142K square feet.
    • "For years we have been working toward reaching an agreement to expand the Long Beach Cruise Terminal to accommodate larger ships on the West Coast," says Carnival president Christine Duffy.

    • Shares of Carnival (NYSE:CCL) are down in premarket trading with Hurricane Matthew hugging the Florida coast. Rightly or wrongly, trading volume on CCL has been above average during past hurricanes as investors look for an edge.
    • The latest track map from the National Hurricane Center shows the hurricane looping back around to head toward the Bahamas again as a tropical storm which could extend the operational delays for Carnival.

    • Carnival (NYSE:CCL) signs a LNG supply deal with Shell Western to help it move toward green cruises utilizing the cleaner fuel source.
    • As part of the agreement, two ships built with Carnival's "green cruising" ship design will utilize Shell's infrastructure in cruise ports to refuel with LNG throughout their itineraries.

    • There's a positive vibe in the cruise line sector a day after Carnival (CCL +3.8%) reported pleasing numbers yesterday.
    • Carnival execs said Zika was hardly a factor during the earnings call as they noted first-half 2017 bookings are ahead of last year's pace.
    • CCL on Zika: "We’ve seen no material impact from Zika. We didn't get any cancelations or they’re not enough to mention. We didn't see any impact on booking volume or timing or anything."

    • Carnival (CCL -1.4%) trades lower in a volatile session after the company issued a solid FQ3 report and raised guidance. Volume on Carnival is more than 50% above normal activity.
    • The company's net revenue yield was up 2.7% during the quarter on a constant currency comparison. Lower fuel expenses and solid ticket prices underpinned the gain.
    • Full-year EPS guidance goes a range of $3.33 to $3.37, compared to a prior view from the cruise line operator of $3.25 to $3.35 and $3.34 consensus.
