    Central European Distribution (CEDC) says its impaired creditors have voted overwhelmingly to accept a reorganization plan, giving the green light for the plan go before the Delaware Bankruptcy Court in May. If approved, CEDC says that Roust Trading will make an aggregate $5M payment to all existing stockholders in April. The financial restructuring should eliminate approximately $665.2M in debt from CEDC's and its related affiliates balance sheets. Shares -4% AH.

    An ironic turn in the Central European Distribution (CEDC) bankruptcy saga: Roustam Tariko's Roust Trading which will control 100% of the restructured equity — announced today that it has informed the company of its intention to "make a $5M payment to all existing shareholders of CEDC" including (drumroll) Roust Trading.

    Central European Distribution (CEDC) files for U.S. bankruptcy as the company seeks to eliminate $665.2M in liabilities. "Shareholders are ending up with almost nothing," one analyst told Bloomberg. Roustam Tariko's Roust Trading will control 100% of the equity in the reorganized entity.

    In the battle to restructure Central European Distribution (CEDC), a consortium backed by Stoli vodka maker SPI and shareholder Mark Kaufman says their deal is "objectively superior" to a competing proposal put forth by CEDC chairman Roustam Tariko. One key difference: Roustam's plan will pay 2013 bondholders (like himself) $172M while the consortium's proposal favors 2016 creditors.

    Beleaguered vodka maker Central European Distribution (CEDC -8%), which is in the midst of a restructuring, has received a new proposal from a consortium of investors which includes Stolichnaya Vodka owner SPI Group. The offer: $280M in cash and $650M in debt in exchange for 100% of the restructured equity.

    Central European Distribution (CEDC +5%) erases early losses to trade higher after announcing a revised transaction with Russian Standard. The revised deal releases restrictions on $50M in cash previously invested in CEDC, the implementation of a new $15M revolving credit facility, plus up to $107M in new capital subject to CEDC's capital restructuring. In return, CEDC has created a Restructuring Committee to be led by non-Russian Standard directors and, names Grant Winterton as CEO, and will call an annual shareholders' meeting as soon as practicable to vote on a new slate of directors.
