Carlisle (CSL -2.7%) Q1 EPS beat Street expectations but misses on revenue as organic sales fell 6.8% Y/Y, primarily due to lower demand in its Carlisle Brake & Friction business and sales declines in global off-highway equipment market. Losses were partially offset however, from better sales from recent acquisitions Carlisle Interconnect Technologies and Carlisle Construction Materials segments, which contributed 3.3% to sales on a net basis.
