Liquidated $FMY core for about 5-6% LT gain. Leverage at 1.32. Sorry to see this guy go.

Whoa. Looks like someone either fat fingered $FMY or put in a market order on low volume.

: Hard to believe a mortgage CEF would have an 8% swing in one session. Over 7 x normal volume. Been to two sites that confirm.

Continuing my $FMY talk from yesterday. Read annual report last night. 11% cash. Utilizing about 8% leverage with ability to go to 33%.

: Sounds like heavy market appetite for CMBS. Fund will try and enhance yield by venturing into lower credit areas moving forward.

I'm too exposed to the sector, but $FMY looks appealing right now. CEF at 10%+ discount. 70% A or better credit. Distribution of +7%.

: Own some $FPF in retirement portfolio (same company). Both holdings have done well.

: Tempted to sell some low stock yielders, buy some $FMY to make up for the lost yield and park the rest in cash (pay down leverage).

Out of 31 positions, all red except $BCE (up) and $FMY (flat).

Reviewed historic performance of all 660 CEF's. Only 7 have had positive returns every year: MIN, FDI, ICB, VBF, EGF, FMY and MGF
