    • GE's (GE -0.2%) plan to build a new fuel-cell manufacturing facility in upstate New York to improve the production of fuel cells that run on natural gas isn't lifting its own shares, but it seems to be providing a big boost to fuel-cell stocks and other alternative energy names.
    • FuelCell Energy (FCEL +14.5%) is soaring after Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy awarded it and a joint venture partner €5M (~$6.7M) in a project to increase power density and the operating life of fuel cells, which would cut costs.
    • Ocean Power Tech (OPTT +35.3%) is exploding higher today with no company specific news to account for the strength, and water management solutions provider GreenHunter Resources (GRH +13.8%) is up sharply on MLP news.

    • GreenHunter Resources (GRH +23.4%) soars following a weekend report that its planned pipeline destination will be somewhere in West Virginia's northern panhandle, citing the company's VP of business operations.
    • The planned 270K bbl/day pipeline will carry water, brine and hydrocarbons through Pennsylvania and West Virginia to the Ohio River, with construction expected to begin in early 2015 and become fully operational by early 2016.
    • A positive Seeking Alpha article also may be influencing shares.

    • GreenHunter Resources (GRH+6.4% premarket after announcing a multiple pipeline project in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays in Pennsylvania and West Virginia with a combined capacity of 270K bbl/day.
    • The point of delivery will be along the Ohio River at one of GRH's barge terminal locations; GRH will own and operate the point of delivery facilities and equipment, while partner Major Pipeline will design, build, own, and operate the pipeline exclusively for GRH's benefit.
    • The first phase of the project has begun with right-of-way negotiations underway and is scheduled to be operational by Jan. 2016.

    • GRH has disposed of operations in the extremely competitive sale water disposal markets of Texas and Oklahoma.
    • Moving forward, Noble believes GRH should see strong revenue growth in SWD operations, margin improvement in transportation services, and additional benefits from introduction of a creative salt water storage line.
