Execs with Cooper Tire & Rubber (CTB +40.5%) said all the right things at a press conference on the company's buyout by Indian company Apollo Tyres. None of the three Cooper manufacturing plants in the U.S. will be closed and the deal is a good match with very little overlap between the tire producers, according to the officials.
