    • Relx Group (NYSE:RELX), the former Reed Elsevier, today set board changes to take place after its annual general meetings.
    • Two non-executive directors -- Lisa Hook and Robert Polet -- are retiring from the board after serving 10 years and nine years respectively. Hook has been senior independent director since April 2013.
    • They're being replaced by Carol Mills and Robert MacLeod, subject to shareholder approval. And Dr. Wolfhart Hauser will be appointed senior independent director to replace Hook in that role.
    • Mills serves on a number of boards, including Xactly Corp., Ingram Micro and White Hat Security. MacLeod is CEO of chemical company Johnson Matthey and will be retiring from the board of Aggreko in April.

    • The firm downgrades Pearson (PSO -0.6%), Reed Elsevier (RUK -0.5%), and Informa to Neutral from Buy, while British Sky Broadcasting (BSYBY) is removed from its Conviction Buy list.

    Reed Elsevier (RUK) says it plans to sell entertainment industry magazine Variety as part of an ongoing effort by its business information division to shed U.S. print-magazine holdings and focus more on data services.
