SAP, which recently raised its 2011 guidance, is seeing strong demand for its Hana software for analyzing real-time business data. SAP (SAP) will today ask a judge to slash or even dismiss a $1.3B payment a jury said it must make to Oracle (ORCL) for wrongfully downloading millions of Oracle's files. SAP says its should pay no more than $40M; Oracle is predictably happy with the award.
