- France's antitrust agency authorizes the sale of Total's (TOT -1.8%) liquefied petroleum gas unit in France to UGI Corp. (UGI -0.1%) provided the buyer sells some storage facilities and amends supply contracts with TOT.
- The local anti-trust agency says the merger without conditions would have given UGI's local unit Antargaz too strong a position in the market.
- Total and UGI last July announced the sale of the unit for €400M-€450M.
