    Worthington Industries (WOR) says that its Pressure Cylinders segment has completed its acquisition of Palmer Mfg. & Tank, a manufacturer of steel and fiberglass tanks and processing equipment for the oil and gas industry, for $113.5M. Palmer manufactures both steel and fiberglass tanks and is strategically located to serve the Bakken formation in North Dakota, the Uinta and Denver-Julesburg basins, along with several of the shale formations in northern Texas.

    Worthington (WOR) acquires Westerman Companies, a manufacturer of tanks and pressure vessels for the oil and gas, nuclear and marine markets, for $70M. Approximately $6M of the purchase price was applied to pay down Westerman debt. Shares -2% AH.
