  • June 21, 2011 Maxim Group initiates Affymetrix (AFFX +8.3%) with a buy, saying the company is well positioned to benefit from improved demand for microarrays in the second half of the year. It has a string of new products, and a new distribution agreement with Thermo Fisher (TMO +2%).
