Why don't you just list every stock in the world? There would probably be some good bets in there some where. Reply

David...add ANAT to the list. It is the sister company of NWLIA - both controlled by the Moody Family. Also, KCLI is another unappreciated insurer trading below book. Disclosure - I am long both. Reply

5 Beaten Down Stocks I'm Considering Buying Here [view article]
Oh sorry, I was referring to MIDD, forgot to mention it.

"I like Middleby anywhere below $70, but will draw the line at $60 because the market will let me. I don’t believe that Middleby’s customers are suffering as much as the market expects. "

Dividend Analysis: Automatic Data Processing [view article]
I enjoy your website and wish you luck. I am surprised that your interest in ADP has not led you to Paychex (PAYX), a similar and simpler business model, with an excellent record of dividend increases, yielding its highest levels in years.

Also, PAYCX, like ADP, provides a dividend investor a perfect compliment to financials since PAYX do better when interest rates rise because they profit from the 'float' while they hold money in overnight accounts. Since financials are faltering, ADP and PAYX provide a good hedge of your bets.

    Good luck and best regards

Thanks for sharing this list with us. I am long several of these stocks mentioned above, and I really believe that they would be providing increasing dividend streams over the next few decades. Reply

NAT, and probably FRO, have payout ratios above the 67% limit for his screen. Doesn't necessarily make them bad investments, they just don't meet the screening criteria from this article. Reply

I own several of these stocks. I bypass brokers and go directly to the company's transfer agent to reinvest the dividends. Many of the DRIPs are company paid. Reply

What's your point? That an economic slowdown is probably going to hurt companies in the payroll processing business is self-evident and doesn't require a lengthy posting. Reply
