Power producer AES (AES +3.4%) reported some strong cash flow and raised guidance, and agrees to sell $1.58B in stock and a 35% stake in its wind-power business to China Investment Corp., raising billions for expansion.

China's sovereign wealth fund is said to be in talks to take a significant minority stake in power-plant developer AES (AES). Another option on the table is a JV in which China contributes capital to fund AES' global plans for power plant development.
