The company says it sees total product sales of $5.98-6.2B for FY13 and $1.5-1.575B for Q2 (consensus is towards the high end of both ranges at $6.16B for the full year and $1.57B for Q2). Friday, March 1, 3:18 PM Allergan (AGN +0.2%) shares tick higher after reporting the expiration of its tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding common shares of MAP Pharmaceuticals (MAPP) for $25 per share. The tender offer acquired about 75.1% of all outstanding shares, satisfying a majority. In order to complete a short-form merger, AGN says it will exercise a top-up option in which it will purchase newly issued shares in order to own one share more than 90% of shares outstanding. Wednesday, February 6, 2:23 PM Allergan (AGN +0.6%) moves up a bit today after JMP Securities ups the shares to Buy on the back of its Q4 results, and Stifel Nicolaus reiterated its Buy rating and raised its price target from $110 to $118. Stifel notes that 2013 guidance was actually robust, and strength can be seen in all its business lines, namely Botox with iOAB launch.
