Takeover Talk - Fast Money Recap (8/22/08) [view article]
Who wants a windmill in there back yard? As for energy,, its only one percent of all energy produced so its a pinch of shit and Boone Pickens has wall streets minds on something else as he picks there pockets. So this is getting very funny,, and gold and silver will survive and hit $2000 within two years. ReplyTakeover Talk - Fast Money Recap (8/22/08) [view article]

Hey, the market is changing so fast, you should look a bit deeper. First, High quality video is available from more than just the major networks. Using CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) like BitGravity, designed to distribute video, and even adjust the quality based on the bandwidth available, HD is more than 'here', it is prevalent. You can almost consider YouTube to be the 'old guard' vs. the folks out there now continuing the Internet tradition of re-invention and improvement. Look at sites like Revision3, an entire TV station on the net, creating custom content. It will all redefine how we even consider this medium... ReplyCt

Buffet likes American Express and Wells Fargo because he owns alot of shares in those companies....He is just trying to PIMP his stocks like all good pimps do......Buffett thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread...I wish the corrupt media would quit kissing his old,fat a@@..... Buffett is on stage just like Boone Pickens. Buffett is soothing the market - Pickens is setting up the next bubble in alternative energy. What Pickens is doing is not all that bad because we do need alternatives, but it is being done to keep the market going and to keep money in the market and away from silver and gold. Sorry, I no longer track KIT Digital and have no interest in the company. ReplyAkamai and the BBC: News Reporting on CDNs Getting Shoddy [view article]
I would like your opinion about KIT digital and their delivery of mobile content throughout Europe and Asia. You argued against KIT in favor of Brightcove last May on the NewTeeVee Blog and since then the company closed the deal with Kamera and added new clients.Your opinion would be appreciated. Reply
Digging Deeper Into Limelight's Earnings Call [view article]
I agree, the wording could be better, the downside of not having an editor for my blog. What I was trying to say was that Limelight is building out their CDN for partial business customers have give them, with the idea that if their build out is successful, they could win more of the customers business from other competitors or from in-house solutions. Roger is right on. The statement is confusing because it is grammatically incorrect. If the word "but" was removed and "to accomodate" appeared instead the sentence and staetment would make sense. I just don't know if that is what Dan meant and so, I am left guessing like the rest of you. ReplyDigging Deeper Into Limelight's Earnings Call [view article]
Dan, I have to agree with Roger -- that sentence doesn't seem to make sense. Can you just clarify that statement? Are you trying to say it is simply building out to support new organic business or taking share from competitors/in-house or both? If you read it carefully, the "but" statement is what is confusing . . . Reply
