Embraer IS on fire as all of the world's airlines will be looking for short route planes highly efficient is fuel costs from 35-110 passengers and ERJ is the leader of the pacl in S AMerica. BUY the stock, ignore Cramer's tie-in w/Boeing-they don't rely on each other for movement up/down at all...ERJ will ascend greatly over the next 2 years and started to ascend over the past few months already-check the chart you'll see-LOX Reply

One of the "Fast Money" threw this curve 6 days ago and I was foolish enough to take the bait, yec. In at $11.00 and now sinking fast below $9..... MSNBC/AKA "carney speak". But, I suppose "stupid is as stupid does" da! "To Hold or Not To Hold That IS the Question". Any knowledgeable thoughts? Reply

How can I say yes when a distinguished investment house like Lehman Brothers has set a twelve-month target price of $34?

I thought the whole game was thinking for yourself...

You should update your information on HOC. They sold the Montana refinery and they own a refinery in New Mexico that is currently going through expansion and upgrade. Reply

    Hi,

Still in consensus with Hans and JJterrito's experience and insight which leads to FTO as optimal in value. FTO is still the best. Goodluck.

Even with BSR eventually coming back online, doesn't this improve valuation? With ALJ trading between 27 - 45...then the sell off to the teens...shouldn't this provide an excellent opportunity for an investment at current levels ($14.50) to $22-$27.00. Reply

Great article! My question is about the stock move today. Thus far, TSO is up higher than all others. I am told it is b/c of the massive short-interest. Is the negativity about TSO driving it, or is it somehow more levered to the expected rise in the price of gasoline. Reply

The economoic consequences of the fire/explosion @ ALj's Big Springs Refinery have yet to be felt. Since ALJ is highly leveraged this would appear to be a big downside for future Qtr earnings. Reply

Well I lost money on Tefron, my Alvarion is down 45% (but I recently bought more.) Maybe this is one Israeli stock that I can make a profit with. Did well with Tesoro a few years ago.

Seems like a good entry point right now.

Owning a string of gas stations in West Texas would probably be a good investment since you have to drive to hell and gone to get anywhere. They only problem might be is that you may have to accept pesos! The Jews ought to feel right at home with the topography. Reply
