Biotech's seem to be in the cross-hairs with Seeking Alpha pundits lately, as another contributor goes on the hunt, this time taking aim at Ampio Pharmaceuticals (AMPE -3.4%). Short seller Adam Gefvert says that despite the hype surrounding its pipeline, it's not as impressive as it looks. Gefvert says much of the positive spin has come from stock pumpers skewing the importance of its pre-investigational NDA meetings. The drugs in question, Zertane and Ampion, have issues with generic competition as well as efficacy.
