McDermott is all about Energy and Power Generation - the two sweet spots in global infrastructure spend. Companies like ATI are completely sold out of specialty metals that go into large transformers. Power generation and transmission is going to be a huge play for the next decade, and getting little market attention. Reply

Don't bet on Mr Kerschner on these "infrastructure&q... deals in the good ole US of A and estimations of how much moolah boolah is gonna be distributed from one pocket to t'other side. Can you really believe Citigroup today?! Plans got to be made, engineering firms got to bid, govern'ments got to meddle, payoffs got to be made, politicians got to give the G-d Bless. and after all that, what do you have? A lot of hope and delusions of reprieve, that's what you'll have. Reply

And don't forget Leighton Holdings, listed on the ASX, which is developing infrastructure in Australia, India, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar and elsewhere, and is also the world's largest contract miner, with huge mining projects in Australia, Indonesia and elsewhere. Reply
