- Friday, April 26, 3:52 PM Atmel (ATML +5.1%) rallies strongly after touch controller rival Synaptics (SYNA +9%) delivers blowout FQ2 (March quarter) results thanks to a 57% Y/Y increase in mobile-related sales, and offers very strong FQ3 guidance. During its earnings call, Synaptics noted its controllers have been designed into the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One, Sony's Xperia Z, and the BlackBerry Z10 - Atmel is also an S4 supplier.
