Why should we pay attention to someone who doesn't know that Boeing's quarterly dividend is $0.40/share, not $0.35/share? Reply

Dutch, you are correct. My wording was a little off. This buy back will take place over years.

I meant to say that, they buy back is equivalent to 14% of the outstanding shares at today's valuation.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

I'm bullish on BA too, but when you say

"However, this stock buy back is 14% of the outstanding shares at this valuation."

I'd recommend taking off those rose-colored glasses. Did they buy back 14% of shares? No. So why make it look like that? They could have, maybe, possibly, had they timed the bottom of the recent slide of the stock. But in fact the number of average diluted shares is down only 4% YoY.

For those Amazon fans (AMZN) I would be very carefull. I would check out the latest tricks that are happening with AMZN and GE-Money. It may not be Amazon's fault but it certainly will cost amazon some revenue and income. I have since shorted Amazon. If you look at a long history of AMZN stock. It looks like it hit a top resistance and is heading down.

Okie and anon: I think the reference to 430% is to a 20-year return not a ten year return, which comes out on my HP12c as about 8.7% annually... Reply

My money is on BAC over Apple. Apple will have record earnings and its stock will fall 20%. BAC will lose only $5B, thats better than $5.5B expected, so a pop of 30% is in order! Welcome to Wallstreet. Home of the crooked! Reply

Ummmm, Bank of America, anyone? Hello? It's hard to believe BAC won't be as closely watched as WB or AAPL. Reply

How come foreigners can keep assets here and not be taxed on interest, capital gains, estates etc., but American's who do the same overseas are criminals? I guess we are against illegal immigration unless they are rich! Reply
