Wednesday, April 24, 11:37 AM BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX +8.3%) pops again today on bird flu concerns out of China, this time that catalyst comes from comments made out of the World Health Organization today, saying that the H7N9 is "one of the most lethal" strains of the bird flu virus compared to one that has killed about 371 since 2003. Tuesday, April 16, 10:44 AM Shares in BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX +3.8%) are higher today after the company announces it's completed its Type C meeting on peramivir with the FDA and confirmed that its proposed New Drug Application content supports a reviewable submission for the indication of acute uncomplicated influenza.
