I echo the sentiment of another post (by Lisa) that this is an excellent summary of the day's major events. One suggestion is to be less verbose to facilitate reading, given that it would be wise to read this early in the morning, when one has a lot of other readings to do. Still, it is excellent service. BSE Sensex +0.52% to 24,265. ????I think its a typo, it should be 14,265. Last week it was in 14,000s, it can't climb 10,000 points in a week or so.

Why is it now necessary for the Fed to put inspectors in the major investment banks. Wasn't that the job of the SEC? And does that mean that they are not sure if their previous lending was done on a sound basis? ReplyShort Interest by Sector: Consumer Discretionary Leads [view article]
Closed at 4.20 a share....bounce or? I don't know what to make of this. For the past month and a half it couldn't break 4 bucks a share, now it jumps 8.81% in a day. Some insight please. ReplyContrarian Indicator: Analyst Buy Ratings [view article]
Try "Low NUMBER of buy ratings," not low amount. Check Webster's Dictionary to learn how to differentiate amount from number. ReplyGoddess

Gaucho is accurate on most of his comments! The dividend though is estimated at 0.67 this quarter in the article I read... They are truly pulling a wedgee on the shorts:) Yes I am long on CALM. ReplyIs Circuit City Being Sold Soon? [view article]
CC shares will not rise to the level it was one year back, thanks to Phil's short-sighted strategies and current gloomy economic situation. CC is a sinking ship, looking for a port in a storm. Apparently, Phil is not 'sold' on this since he continues to believe CC has enough cash reserves to tide over the 'transformation' stumbling blocks. Alas, vested interests may not be able to take Phil's professed beliefs at 'face' value. Reply
