I have shorted COCO today. ReplyInvestors Give Corinthian Colleges an 'F' [view article]
Corinthian Colleges has a history, that should have caused this company to be disbanded shut down long ago. This company is one of several that is guilty of "student loan farming'.According to US Senate report 102-58, dated may 17th, 1991, from the legislative date of April 25th 1991, The US senate knew back in 1975, and again in 1991, about the negligence of the US Dept of Ed, in its oversight authority on these 2 year trade schools which left many students with nothing but debts they could not pay. And some of the schools responsible for helping to create those debts are now owned by Corinthian Colleges.
Corinthian colleges, is now the owner of several of those schools, now under new names such as Olympia and Everest, and CDI schools. Corinthian itself has been sued how many times in the last 5 years?
As an investment, Corinthian should be considered an "out of this world risk". Reply
