Friday, March 8, 12:46 PM Cooper Cos. (COO +3.7%) trades up on a solid FQ1 earnings beat late yesterday, as total sales climbed 16.5% year over year. Net profit also rose 37% as the company's contact-lens business continued to expand. The company revised the lower-end of its FY13 guidance, now projecting earnings in the range $5.95 - $6.10 per-share. However, that still trails analysts consensus by around $0.64.
