Stock down 55% after hours Reply20 Guidelines for the Individual Investor [view article]
Check out this article about sectors making breaks right now- might be useful for investors and traders (sorry couldn't help but notice the fight on this board) alike. www.greenfaucet.com/tr...Quite frankly, I'm amazed that this articles author's analysis pointed to airlines, hotels, and leisure products as the sub-sectors that will make a break next week.. check it out. I'm sure Mr. Gorski is assuming us readers would apply a certain amount of common sense to these suggestions, and not necessarily follow them literally. Quibble if it makes you feel better, but the fact remains that this article touches on many company/stock events that do effect a stock's price and oftentimes the response the writer is suggesting will make you money. Most articles like this assume that a serious investor will always do her or his homework. Personally, I don't need this stated to me in every investment article I read. Do you? Hi David,i have no idea how you pick stocks, what is your method? However, i see you have 3 companies in your list that i am long on, FTEK, FSR and FAST. I would like for you to check out ISLN, EXBD and MKL Reply

If that is your replacement list can we see the rest of what you currently own. At first glance it seems like you may toss the majority of your energy, financials, and tech holdings. Can we get a sector percentage to give some clarification? Here I will make your task much easier, stocks on your list I would hang on to would include: AA, AYR, BDK, BKS, CBI, CMI, COMS, CPB, CSCO, DD, DRYS, DUK, FCX, FTO, HELE, HNZ, HOC, HON, IPSU, IR, JCI, KCI, KMX, NVS, OSK, PAYX, PPC, PPG, PRU, RTN, SNY, TSO, TTC, TXT, VE, VZ, WAG, WY. Crocs: Successful Brand or Victim of Cheap Imitations? [view article]
I closed my CROX position last year October to add to my POT stock. Some oil and gas profits were recently reinvested into this cyclical shoe and cash until this market is at a level I feel comfortable to play.Is CROX a fad? Absolutely, just like the 15 year UGG fad.
Knockoffs? Plenty, but cheap enough to have Brand loyal support.
Solid branding, new product lines, expensive accessories, comfort, and new international support.
Between October 1-31 I will sellout of CROX again just when I need to put away my sandals, get out my winter boots, back up the oil / gas market truck to heat my home, and before I see their international shipping bill costs!!!
There is too many weak handed shareholders to hold this stock annually.-Including me!
CASH is my favorite ticker lately.
Some spec cash invested in what I will believe will be the 2008 WSA footwear line winner www.skinsfootwear.com/ Skins Inc (SKNN.OB) ticker @ .18 cents
The biggest long term difference between CROX and SKNN ?
SKNN is completely patented something I wish CROX had!
FYI Shoe Man's mention of new CROX models priced at $220 to $300 are lines not yet launched to the public and will be on display in August for retailers only at WSA. Reply

Skins Footware: A Next-Generation Crocs? [view article]
Originality aways wins over the fashion forward crowd. Like Crox and UGGS Skins has a shoe concept that most people have never seen before. I purchased a pair of Skins footwear and 2 weeks later purchased the stock because I like the shoes and I like the fact they were smart enough to patent their shoe. Protection from competition provides safety for shareholders. ReplyTuesday Options Outlook: EMC, XLE, USO, GS, WB, C, CROX, LOGI [view article]
Steve,I feel your pain,I'm from Henderson,N.C,on the Virginia border. You must understand that speculators and short players help to stabilize the markets..they are not the enemy,if they are wrong on their position, they will pay very heavily.Just give it some time, all roosters will come to roost...this said by a 35yr investor! Skins: Just Another Silly Shoe Idea? [view article]
I sat on the sidelines until now. A year ago Skins Inc. shares were $2.00 with no shoes for sale. Now the Skins shoe is alive and well and the stock is .18 at close today SKNN.OB. I decided to buy stock before they attend WSA (World Shoe Shoe) in Las Vegas. With Distribution already in place with Zappos for fall I look forward to my buy low and sell higher position. Never one to buy on hype I bought a pair Sportie LA on Melrose Avenue 2 weeks ago and see a great market and future for this patent shoe.Ps I wish CROX would have had a patent protection like Skins does then hardworking people like yourself would not have stock go from 38 to 8 since you wrote your article. since over 30% of the people believe that the margin on oil contracts should be raised to 90 or 95% to cut the speculation why not get this done if its true the price of oil will drop 50 to 70 dollars a barrel that would be great i say listen to us common people who are not considered experts like the so called experts steve from Hickory n.c. ReplyCrocs: Successful Brand or Victim of Cheap Imitations? [view article]
i also wanted to add that patents are routinely ignored in some other countries where knockoffs are manufactured. why give them the ingredients to the secret sauce for free? Reply
