Wednesday, May 8, 10:46 AM An independent data safety monitoring committee recommends the discontinuation of a Phase 2b trial of CytRx's (CYTR -11.4%) tamibarotene as a first-line treatment for advanced non-small-cell lung cancer. The drug is not likely to improve outcomes over treatment with approved-chemotherapy drugs, the committee says.
