Daqo New Energy (DQ +3.3%) moves up after its Q2 beat on bottom line estimates. Net losses came in less than expected, as margins improved due to several technology improvements and a lower seasonal electricity rate. The company warns, however, that the solar PV industry continues its downward trajectory and that the average selling prices for polysilicon, wafer and modules remain weak.
