Wednesday, April 10, 9:56 AM DragonWave (DRWI +8.4%) rises after saying it will remain Nokia's (NOK +1.3%) preferred supplier of packet microwave products. Under a new framework, the company will receive an "immediate cash payment" of €10.6M which will eliminate an existing receivable on its balance sheet. DRWI also says it has cut senior management positions by a third as part of its cost reduction effort. The shares are off sharply YTD after the company cut its Q4 sales outlook in March. Comment! Monday, April 8, 9:34 AM Ceragon (CRNT -5.9%) warns it expects to report Q1 revenue of $89M-$91M and EPS of -$0.15 to -$0.18, below a consensus of $101.7M and $0.02. The mobile backhaul equipment maker says it's "taking longer than we expected to close certain deals," due to the "cautious approach" of carriers. Though Ceragon expects Q2 bookings to improve a bit thanks to seasonality, it sees "longer sales cycles" persisting. Shares are now down 40% from Friday's close, and the company sports a market cap of just $55M. With huge losses forecast even prior to the warning, the Street appears to be questioning the company's ability to survive. DragonWave had $36.4M in cash/equivalents as of Nov. 30, and $15M in debt.
