        <![CDATA[<p>I found <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601014&amp;sid=ataZfeXWHGcU">this article from Bloomberg</a> with news of the latest filing dated <a href="http://www.secinfo.com/$/SEC/Filing.asp?T=14D5a.s3B9z_1xa">March 31, 2009</a> but no link to the actual 13f. Shockingly, I was able to find it <a href="http://www.secinfo.com/$/SEC/Filing.asp?T=14D5a.s3B9z_1xa">here</a> and you can compare it to the previous filing from <a href="http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1082621/000119312509024161/d13fhr.txt">December 31, 2008</a> here.</p><p>The Bloomberg article notes that HMC increased its exposure to China, Brazil and Mexico. Mexico is odd as it seems as though Mexico has become unpopular due to declines in production from the Cantarell Field. From the March low, iShares Mexico (EWW) is up about the same as iShares Emerging (EEM) but EWW was a drag for the first quarter.</p>]]>

      <title>Claymore Fund Closings Not Good for ETF Industry</title>

        <![CDATA[<p>Holy fund closings. We've had the odd shuttering of a fund in the past but there went 11.<!--more--> Matt Hougan has written a <a href="http://seekingalpha.com/article/62769-claymore-to-liquidate-11-of-its-least-popular-etfs" >nice little article on it</a>, and he talked to Christian Magoon about it. Could this be the opening of the gate for many future similar closings? Goodness knows traditional funds have been doing it in large numbers for many years (hence the dreaded survivorship bias in many fund studies). Funds are often incubated and then merged or shuttered depending on their asset and returns performance.</p> <p>I <em>believe </em>I'm write that this is the largest ETF fund closing in history - I think that Deutsche Bank's 8 Country Baskets (caskets if you will) would come in second.  Greg Newton mentions them in his <a href="http://nakedshorts.typepad.com/nakedshorts/2005/12/a_real_commodit.html" >fun review of DBC</a> when that was launched:</p>]]>

Many investors like to invest in equity ETFs with high dividend yields to get income while spreading risk across a number of stocks.<!--more-->  We recently screened our list of over 500 ETFs to find the ones with the highest yields.  Below we highlight our results.  
</p>
<p>As shown, REM, DFE, TTH, PGF and KRE have the highest 12-month dividend yields of the ETFs we track.  Most of the stocks on the list are US equity ETFs, however, there are a number of high-yielding international equity ETFs as well.  DFE, EEW, CVY, DNH, EPP, EWI and EWA all track non-US equity indices.
