Wealth management firm Edelman Financial Group (EF +41.7%) is being taken private by affiliates of Lee Equity Partners for $8.85/share, or ~$257.5M, a 43% premium to its Friday closing price.

Ocean Man A year ago, Eagle Ford acres were being bought for about $10K per acre. Recent sales closer to $20K per acre. CHK has most acres in the EF.
