The Index is designed to measure and monitor the performance of the investable universe of publicly-traded companies and real estate investment trusts(“REITs”) deriving a majority of their revenues from real estate development, management and/or ownership of property in the countries of the S&P BMI Emerging Markets Index. As of the date of this prospectus, these countries are: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. The Index was created by AlphaShares, LLC (“AlphaShares” or the “Index Provider”) and is maintained by Standard & Poor’s (the “Index Administrator”). The Index includes equity securities of companies of all categories of market capitalizations, as defined by AlphaShares (subject to the minimum capitalization requirements set forth below under “Index Construction”).
