Broadcom Enters FTTH Chipset Market [view article]
I think it will take longer than expected to see actual shipments from Broadcom for MOCA chips, as there is a big lag between being qualified at a vendor and actually shipping product for the marketplace (12-18 months). This gives ENTR a lot of runway to continue to get near-term revs from Verizon, strengthen the product offering (next gen MOCA products), and start shipping to other cable providers who plan to over MOCA over the next year.helpme, u can borrow my shares, if u want to short.. I tried to short ENTR on E-Trade but they said they don't have any to borrow. What brokerage are you using? ReplyBroadcom Enters FTTH Chipset Market [view article]
BRCM portfolio momentum is picking up speed but the stock market itself doesnt have to enthusiam to lift the shares. Maybe another quarterly earnings beat will the greenlight >$30. ReplyBroadcom Enters FTTH Chipset Market [view article]
Great article, interesting move by BRCM. Iamba BTW, citing cash problems due to the slower than expected ramp of the GPON programs, just reduced their head count to a basic 15 while looking for new financing or a partner to be acquired. With the BRCM announcement I now believe the latter is more likely to happen. Now, who could be interested in GPON technology on the block? Marvell, but wait why not Cavium? Taro ReplyEditors

The OLED's were there last year. They are amazing but they are old news. ReplyCES 2008: My Opinion and Perspective [view article]
Thin is indeed in and maybe you missed them behind those thick LCDs, but the OLEDs were thinner and brighter! If you didn't like the price, OK, but hey, that's what was new this year. Reply
