Five ETFs Beating This Bear Market [view article]
Every day, in IBD, there is a list showing the 10 best and 10 worst ETFs over different horizons (1 wk, 1 month, 3 months, etc). Reverse funds are also covered. None of the 5 ETFs listed here made the IBD list as being among the best. What is going on? ReplyGlobal Carbon Trading Index - Updated [view article]
That's an intersting list. Thanks for providing it. In order to be really useful, it needs to indicate % of revenues due to carbon trading for each company. ReplyPennsylvania: At the Forefront of Domestic Energy E&P [view article]

AND ALL US U.S. CAPITALISTS WILL BE RICHER; WOO-HOO!!!! ReplyPennsylvania: At the Forefront of Domestic Energy E&P [view article]
And with the someone else's help, DEPLETION COMES SOONER. ReplyPennsylvania: At the Forefront of Domestic Energy E&P [view article]
Being the capitalist I am and many of you are, if Russia buying a portion of our 300 year coal supply for export to their steel industry doesn't get your attention and of all the other concerned US resource folks including those that have in-the-ground assets (oil, NG, coal) which sooner or later will become assets for-sale (being we're all capitalists), it seems to me we had better start working a LOT HARDER developing and providing many alternatives for our lifestyle; because if we don't deplete our natural assets, someone else will. ReplyPennsylvania: At the Forefront of Domestic Energy E&P [view article]
CXG is a little gem. Glad prices for ng are flat...have to keep it cheaperthan coal...burns cleaner until they can really find a way to clean up coal...
With a recession all around us...we need cheap energy. I haven't seen
too much going dry. Reply

My understanding is that the number of wells is rising but the volume of production for NG is flat. That does raise questions about sustainability of production unless new untapped fields are opened. ReplyPennsylvania: At the Forefront of Domestic Energy E&P [view article]
Great to hear the Russians are investing in PA. This will give us a bargaining chip when they national their oil we developed for them. ReplyPursley

Nat gas up today. Is nat gas plentiful? Not to the extent people such as Speaker Pelosi think. Go, nat gas. Go, coal. ReplyGlobal Carbon Trading Index - Updated [view article]
to 300mph : you are so right. Any new fund or note to invent , the investment banker/robbers will. ReplyETF Update: Recycling and Waste Management, Maritime Shipping [view article]
I've looked long and hard for a good maritime fund that didn't catch cold every time the spot market sneezed. Do any of these ETFs smooth out these fits and starts in the spot market? ReplyETF Update: Recycling and Waste Management, Maritime Shipping [view article]
I looked long and hard for a good maritime stock, but always ran into the very volitile spot index. Do IYT or Delta Global smooth out the fits and starts of the spot market on a long term basis?Reply
