Keefe, Bruyette raises First Commonwealth (FCF +3.5%) to outperform on price weakness, saying the bank will likely continue to deal with additional credit costs in the near term, but its capital reserve is strong enough to handle any credit problems.

With widespread bleeding and near-2% losses for stocks, is anybody doing well in the wake of the "Volcker rules"? Smaller banks: SPDR KBW Regional Banking (KRE +2.7%) is leading sector ETFs by a sizeable margin. Fifth Third (FITB) up 8.8%; Comerica (CMA) up 9.8%; First Commonwealth (FCF) up 10.9%.

Valuable Insights: This will be a $30 stock. IMOS has $4 free cash flow per year. They did that in '11 and will in '12. No net debt by year-end '12. Own it.
