- Tuesday, April 30, 6:43 AM Spansion (CODE) says it will buy Fujitsu Limited's (FJTSY.PK) microcontroller and analog business for $175M including $65M for inventory. CODE says the purchase "aligns with [its] strategy to expand into system-on-chip solutions that require leadership in embedded Flash technology." - Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 10:26 AM Fujitsu (FJTSY.PK) and Sharp (SHCAY.PK) unveiled 11 new Symbian-based smartphones today, showing the declining mobile software platform may at least have a future in Japan. Nokia (NOK) just resumed development of Symbian, due to neglect from other vendors.
