Wednesday, April 3, 3:12 PM The Forensic Accounting ETF (FLAG) drops Nike (NKE) and Wal-Mart (WMT) from its portfolio, giving each "F" rankings based on its forensic accounting model. Other "F's" include SNI, XLNX, MOS, and TIF. Those garnering an "A" include CHK, HES, EA and AKAM. Since its Feb. 1 inception, the ETF has matched the S&P's performance. 2 Comments [Quick Ideas]

Those getting top scores are LMT, ANF, and BRCM, while those failing are HD, F, COL, and TRIP. "Home Depot's revenue increase of 6% doesn't justify the stock's 23+ P/E ratio ... Tuesday, February 26, 11:59 AM The recently-launched Forensic Accounting ETF (FLAG) attempts to overcome shortcomings in the S&P 500 (SPY) by weighting stocks according to earnings quality, says its creator John Del Vecchio. Those stocks with the largest market caps are thus not necessarily those with the largest influence over the fund. Additionally, companies with aggressive accounting are excluded from the ETF.

Thursday, January 31, 3:23 PM Exchange Traded Concepts rolled out its latest ETF FLAG, an equities fund that relies on forensic accounting to pick stocks based on the quality of their earnings. FLAG comes with an expense ratio of 0.85%. Forensic accountant John Del Vecchio is behind the Del Vecchio Earnings Quality Index tracked by the ETF and is also the portfolio manager for HDGE.
