Tuesday, April 2, 11:57 AM Fluor (FLR -0.3%) says it's agreed to pay $1.1M to settle a lawsuit alleging that the engineering and construction company misused federal funds for lobbying. The lawsuit stems from FLR's management of the Hazardous Materials Management and Emergency Response facility, which the DOE uses for the training of emergency first responders. It alleged the company improperly billed the Department for costs incurred to market the facility for training of other government agencies. Comment! [U.S. Economy]
