Monday, August 6, 2012, 5:47 AM Apple (AAPL), a major Sharp customer, is probably closely watching Foxconn's attempts to renegotiate its 9.9% investment in the Japanese company after its shares plunged last week following a profit warning and fell another 5.7% today. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 2:11 PM Most iPad2s (AAPL) are produced at Foxconn’s (FXCNY.PK) Shenzhen facility, not the Chengdu plant where Friday's explosion took place, so estimates for a 2.8M-unit hit to production are “too pessimistic,” iSuppli's Dale Ford writes.
