I did speak with them and have passed your email to them for a response. Most of their people have taken off for the holiday and I expect a response next week. I can't guarantee they will satisfy your inquiry. As you know we spent most of our time with them on tracking issues and posted a table on Tuesday I believe. Reply

David, you said that you would be talking to ProShares on Monday so that you could help me understand the mechanics of how they do the 2:1 double shorts for FXI/FXP and IYR/SRS.Really would like to hear your thoughts on this subject. Thanks, John Reply

David, there really is someone on the wing!! ReplyTuesday Outlook: Commodities, Emerging Markets [view article]
David, I am still hoping for an explanation of how ProShares actually makes the 2:1 SRS/FXP work. I love it and I am not complaining, it is just that I keep adding to my positions in both and I would like to be able to explain it to my wife! Thanks, love your charts and comments on each.

Thanks for the tracking info! ReplyTuesday Outlook: Commodities, Emerging Markets [view article]
Hey Dave...Love your charts and comments. You use Stock Charts for your analysis. I use both Stock Charts and Big Charts. The trouble with Big Charts is their indexes, especially the DOW are way off in price range. I've seen their daily prices vary as much as 100 points from reality (their daily charts will show the true price). For example their Jan low shows 11,500 verses about 11690. Is there a reason for this or do they use Yahoo's numbers man for that as well!! Thanks, John ReplyProShares ETFs: Why Volume Trading Makes a Difference [view article]
John the bear wrote on June 28:I am amazed that there is a way to get a 2:1 ratio against an index, and I admit to investing without knowing all the facts.
I would appreciate it if you could explain how the process works so that I will have greater confidence in the future as my profit keeps expanding my holdings.
Please try to find an answer for me.
Have you asked ProShares to explain it to you? Reply
