Greenbrier Companies (GBX +6.4%) gains after reporting strong demand for railcars, posting over $430M in new business across multiple railcar types since the start of its current fiscal year, which began on September 1. The company has received orders for over 4,200 units, including orders for 1,250 of its higher margin tank cars with a value of approximately $160M, and additional orders in North America and Europe for 1,400 automotive-related products totaling $140M.
