  • 08:30 AM A month-long bidding war concludes with Diedrich Coffee (DDRX) agreeing to be acquired by Green Mountain (GMCR) for $290M after Peet's Coffee & Tea (PEET) backed down and said it would not make a counter offer. Green Mountain will acquire all outstanding shares of Diedrich for $35 in cash, and will also pay Diedrich's $8.5M termination fee with Peet's. Comment!

Keurig's machines have exploded in popularity in recent years, but the technology is owned by Green Mountain (GMCR), which wants to bring more of the brands licensed to sell K-Cups under its wings. 1 Comment
