Tuesday 09:57 am Bank of America-Merrill Lynch analyst Guy Moszkowski slashes Q4 earnings forecasts for Goldman Sachs (GS -0.1%), Morgan Stanley (MS -0.4%) and JPMorgan (JPM -0.5%), noting hedge funds and i-bank trading desks appear to have "de-risked" to lock in what's been a profitable 2009.

Tuesday 09:37 am Goldman Sachs (GS) won $192M of a total $923M in U.S. IPO fees this year, up more than 60% from 2008, giving it first spot among underwriters. Citigroup's (C) fees dropped to $68.3M, bumping it out of the top five. While the biggest surge in stocks since the Great Depression revived the IPO market, almost 40% of H2 offerings left buyers with losses.
