Today a federal judge will consider what happens to the scores of Bratz dolls planned for sale in 2009 after Mattel (MAT) was awarded control of the brand late last year. MGA hopes it will get a year to wind things up.

At Mattel (MAT), plans for a new, edgier Barbie. MAT hopes Barbie 2.0 will appeal to the tweens, and goose sales which have been flat for five of the past seven years. At 49, maybe they should consider Botox (AGN).
