    This true?

I am involved in the Wal-Mart sustainable packaging initiative, and have seen NO Stanelco products in the Wal-Mart venue. What products are you referring to specifically, I am interested in learning more.

No mention of Stanelco PLC ????

    London Stock Exchange, ticker SEO
Stanelco manufactures and sells starch-based bioplastic
Stanelco are on the WalMart Scorecard and are already selling Bioplastic to suppliers of Wal-Mart
Stanelco sell Bioplastic to Indaco Manufacturing of Canada who make compostable bags with it, amongst many other clients globally
Stanelco have distributors(Agents) in Australia/N.Z(BioPak) and Israel(Isracaps), both see huge potential for the Stanelco Bioplastics, and are working with major buyers to get deals in the near term
Stanelco are one of the top players in the Bioplastics industry
Biotec their German subsidiary has been manufacturing Bioplastic for over 10 years, and has well over 200 Patents, including one just published that is amazing
Stanelco's partner in Bioplastics is Groupe Sphere of France, they are working on changing their 150,000 tonnes of perto-plastic to Bioplastic withing the next year, and have a target of 400,000 tonnes in or before 2010. Sphere bought a starch factory in France, and have 60% of a co-operative with the potato farmers to supply it, they are capped at 63,000 tonnes of starch per annum. enough to make 187,500 tonnes of Bioplastic. Sphere announced they will invest €20m in building another Bioplastics factory and laboratory next to their starch works in France.
The group are working on many new products for new areas of the Bioplastics market, these are expected to appear next year.
The manufacturing facility has a nameplate capacity (based on filling its 500 tonne silo daily) of some 180,000 tonnes, more than Natureworks and a load more than Metabolix and Cereplast put together.
Stanelco are keeping a low profile as the former management were not good at running the company, hence the share price huge spike in 2005/2006, but costs have been cut and Stanelco ar a whisker away from an operational profit, they will definately be the first listed Bioplastics company to make a profit.
