Excellent article. How's the performance of the Vanguard index funds versus comparable iShares (ie. tracking error from the underlying indexes)? Reply

Hi from Chile, about ECH and Chile Stock Market,
copper is not represented in "la bolsa", unfortunately there is a very few stocks related to copper.
The principal players are Codelco (state company) not listed and the
rest are in foreign hands with the exception of Antofagasta Holdings,
listed in London Exchange (ANTO), but not in Chile Bolsa.

The principal stocks here are COPEC(kraft woodpulp, lumber), Enersis
(utilities holding company) CMPC(paper and woodpulp), retailers, banks, airlines and some more.

So disagree ECH is not a copper play.

Confusing. Why not name the existing comparable Vanguard ETF's and show the actual comparison? The way it is done leaves things in an abstract make-believe. Reply
